Vanda Ms. Joaquim is a very easy to grow terete vanda. Flowers have been used for years for Hawaiian leis. Here in South Florida, it blooms all summer long in full sun and often times even during the winter months. Offering is for 3 top cuttings about 10 to 15" with aerial roots. Simply place all three in an appropriate pot and use common yard mulch such as cypress shavings or redwood. They can be watered often in the summer but do not keep the growing media soppy wet. Spraying the plant with water every day is appreciated if you live in a low humidity area. We put 7 cuttings in an 8 or 10" pot for a spectacular floral display. If you purchase 2 sets (6 plants) we will include an extra and you pay shipping for only the first 6. We will try our best to send at least one budded or blooming plant.

The product, and the proprietor, are top notch.

When I ordered this, we were both concerned about the cold temps coming into MN the next week. However the package made it through before freezing temps hit. I opened the package and the fun began. It had been wrapped so well that a wolverine would have had trouble getting into it. Then, when I finally got to the cuttings, I was surprised. I had ordered three, but there were four. Thank you very much. I quickly cut the cuttings into some Oasis wet foam and some sphagnum blankets. Now, a month later, I ave new growth everywhere. I must have ten new arial roots emerging and two new stalks. Needless to say, I am very happy. In fact, I'm counting the days until I can order some more orchids. Come on Spring.
