Trilobite Death Plate Slab

This is a rare Trilobite Death Plate Fossil slab.  I believe it came from Morocco.  It has 4 magnificent specimens on a huge 19” slab.  It weighs over 12 lbs.  It would make a spectacular conversation piece in an upscale office or displayed in a den at home. 

Trilobites are among the oldest of creatures dating back some 500 million years.  Horse Shoe crabs are its nearest relatives alive today.  They were the dominant species during the Cambrian period and there are perhaps 60,000 species. 

It is very rare to find such large ones with multiples on a single slab.  Each is one of a kind.  We display this one on a substantial display pedestal.  Like almost all large trilobite specimens, this has been professionally prepared and cleaned.   Shipping includes insurance.  Picture is of actual item
