Tillandsia vriesea espinosae or Vriesea espinosae

Smaller tillandsia around 4 to 5 inches forming star like clusters in time. Great for orbs and terrariums culture as well as fairy gardens, or just hung on a wire. These are originally from Ecuador and Peru. Some confusion as to correct taxonomy. aka Vriesea espinosae. Long ago quit trying to keep up with Botanical nomenclature. Our common queen palm has been changed, changed back and forth, renamed, many times. It is known by all as Cocos plumosa, and those smart enough to know that this is not botanically correct should bow down to "Horticultural taxonomy" and realize most of us dont really give a crap and recognize it as simply queen palm. Whether it be Cocos, Syagrus, Arecastrum, etc etc. It quit being important in college with me as I prepared for a plant ID class and was surprised that our professor was calling Florida Jasmine forsythia. Never think of Forsythia without associating it with Jasminum florida, and somehow I have still survived. Plants are shipped Monday, Tuesday and some Saturdays
