About as close as a plant gets to "don't water me" if exposed to humid conditions. Native of coastal Peru and in desert areas lying on the sand in Bolivia. Has purplish blue flowers. Sometimes confused with Tillandsia streptophylla. Plants are shipped on Monday, Tuesday and some Saturdays
