Pregnant Onion, have known this for years as Ornithogalum caudatum but now they have changed it to Albuca . Anyway this is a tough plant and fun for kids to grow. It has properties similar to Aloe vera working on rashes, cuts, scrapes, burns etc. We include at least 3 bulblets also. We usually ship these bare root, but can ship in pots if you want. Postage can be a bit more. They transplant easily. Just give them light and an occasional drink. I think they can go for months without water, but are really not a cactus. About the only thing they won't tolerate is being soaking wet for long periods of time.

They are tropical so be patient, we wait for breaks in the weather to ship when conditions in your area are above freezing. This can sometimes take several weeks, It is also known as sea onion

We combine orders on Ebay as well as our own website and ship plants on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday weather permitting in your area. Expect delays if forecasts are above 94 or below 40 in your area. Non perishables go out same or next day. 10 sets of leaves will ship for same postage as one set. We include extra when you order 3 or more sets of leaves. 2 or 3 African violet plants will usually ship under 1 lb minimum.
