Maxillaria tenuifolia Coconut Orchid Blooming size secies plant

Maxillaria tenuifolia is a very easy to grow orchid with blooms smelling like coconut. It is native of Central America and ours originated in Mexico. This is a nice blooming size plant with 5 or more bulbs.  . Plant is in 4" basket. This is a nice dark clone of the species. They form huge clumps in the wild usually on tree branches and trunks as in the header image, but we have seen them growing on rocks. This is a great beginners species orchid plant.
