Lord Howe Island vinous-Tinted Blackbird extinct c 1920 is part of the Vanished species, a limited, serially numbered collection of exotic brids all now extinct. Cast in porcelain bisque and hand painted with exacting detail. This piece is in the original box with original packing and wood stand. Has never been on display. Was taken out to photograph. These were made around 1986 by Aldon Accessories. Limited to 15,000, this is number 4483.
