Dendrobium anosmum (syn. Dendrobium superbum) is a popular, pendulous epiphytic orchid native to Southeast Asia. Ironically known as the "unscented dendrobium" due to a botanical misnomer, it is celebrated worldwide for its intense, sweet fragrance resembling raspberries or rhubarb.

Growth Habit: Large, cascading canes that can grow 3 to 6 feet long.
Blooms: Showy flowers up to 3 inches wide erupting along mature, leafless canes.
Colors: Typically shades of lavender, pink, and magenta, though rare variants like the pure white alba, white-with-purple semi-alba, and splash-petal Touch of Class are highly coveted.
Seasonal Cycle: Deciduous. It drops its leaves during winter dormancy to prepare for a spectacular spring bloom.
