Brassocattleya (Bc.) Mount Hood 'Orchidglade' AM/AOS is a famous, award-winning classic Cattleya orchid hybrid known for its exceptionally large, fragrant, pink-lavender flowers. Registered by Beall in 1962, this traditional "Big Brasso" is a cross between Rlc. Déesse and C. Claris. The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) currently accepts its name under the genus Rhyncholaeliocattleya (Rlc.) Mount Hood. [

Flowers: Enormous Blooms reaching 7.5 to 8 inches in width.
Coloring: Distinct pink-lavender sepals and petals contrasted by a striking chartreuse-yellow throat on the lip.
Growth Habit: Standard unifoliate Cattleya with long, specimen-sized pseudobulbs.
Bloom Season: Typically flowers during the fall and winter months.
Accolades: Earned an 80-point Award of Merit (AM) from the American Orchid Society (AOS) in 1966.
